More information than you wanted
Here is a meme from
Miss Knotty!
1. What was I doing ten years ago?
We had just adopted Betty Boop and I was getting ready to go back to work. I got a job at American Airlines and just LOVED it.
2. What are five (non-work) things on my to-do list for today:
a) Knit for my class this weekend
b) manage the bills
c) read my email from all of my crazy friends who make me answer memes!!
d) clean the kitchen
e) watch at least ONE TV show with the Big Texan
3. Snacks I enjoy:
Popcorn, pretzels, peanuts (honey roasted, roasted, spanish), crackers - I like salty snacks
4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
travel to see my family and have them come visit me too. I would buy some land in Montana and build a log cabin. I would give a LOT to homeless people, charities, hospitals, cancer research, my church and anyone I thought would need it.
5. Places I have lived:
Texas, Texas, Texas - Everywhere from El Paso to Houston to Dallas. but all in Texas
6. Jobs I have had:
Grocery Cashier (I LOVED IT), telemarketer, secretary, production manager of a magazine, but my favorite was when I worked in a Day Care Center... I love being a mom and caring for children.
7. Peeps I want to know more about:
ANYONE!!! No pressure! I just love these things...

1) 10 years ago, I was a SAHM to then 4yo son and 6yo daughter. I spent my days hanging out with my best friend who lived in the 3rd floor apartment.
2) Five non-work things on my to-do list:
a. Make birthday cake for son who turns 14 today.
b. Call FDOE to get help signing up for state education certification exams so I can apply for teaching positions in the fall.
c. Knit mate to fingerless glove I completed today
d. Decide if I’m giving daughter back her cell phone, which I confiscated as part of an “investigation”
e. Make fresh apple/orange juice to help my body fight off a cold.
3) My favorite snacks are salsa and chips, cheese puffs, spinach and artichoke dip and new york deli bagel bites, and chips and Ranch dressing dip, which my best friend from high school always used to make when I slept over.
4) If I were a billionaire, I would first quit my job and then pay off all of my debt. Then, I would set aside money to pay for my kids’ college education. I would give a minimum of 10% to my church. I would also donate money to my local animal shelters. I would probably treat myself to a few of the newest electronic gadgets since I’m a geek at heart.
5) Places I have lived: Canada (although I don’t remember it), Michigan (very faint memories), Colorado, Alabama, and Florida.
6) Jobs I have held: Secretary, Librarian, Library Assistant, Staff Assistant, Office Automation Specialist, SAHM, merchandiser, mystery shopper, records clerk, paraprofessional (at one of our local middle schools), and IT specialist. My favorite job, hands-down, was as a SAHM, although I don’t think of as a job but my life.
