Sock Summit
My first class this morning was GREAT! I had Carson's KnitteRx - it was about ergonomically knitting. I am now completely afraid to knit... Just kidding - but it does make you think about how you knit and how you hold your body and hands. I want to be healthy for years to come - so I have some things to think about and things to change - to make sure I am not stressing my body while I am knitting (or doing anything else for that matter).
My next class was Planning for Pooling! I am part of the Ravelry group - but I never really "got" it... When they explained it today - I completely got it and was ready to run home and play with all of my variegated yarns!
When they opened the market this afternoon - the line was unreal - it stretched all the way through the lobby, around a corner and into another conference room.
Once you got into the market - some of the booths were outrageous! They were actually throwing yarn to people to get it to people.
The only yarn that was left in this booth was the orange & white colorway. This picture was taken after the market was open to the students for 30 minutes... Can you believe it?
Here is a picture of my chalkboard door. I put this up here myself. Isn't it cute? I wish I had a chalkboard at home to draw things on.
It is late and I still have some homework to do. One of my teachers added more to the homework and I found out about it today. I have to get it done before the first class in the morning.
