Episode 112 What? Where am I?

What’s been going on?
We got ready for the  Yellow Rose Fiber Fiesta  where we had our OWN BOOTH for the first time!  We were able to put EVERYHING in our Cube!  I am having to build a booth from scratch and it has been interesting doing it on a shoestring budget.  It is kind of hard to believe that we got everything into our little vehicle... Here are some photos of out booth there.  I also got my hair cut!  I cut off over 13 inches and sent it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths... I was going to send to Locks of Love - but changed to the other at the last minute... You should do research before you donate anything and make sure it is going to a place that you feel good about...
Knitting?
My arm is better but I haven’t been knitting... I was able to start a project while I was at the Yellow Rose Fiber Fiesta and I think it is going to turn out well.  It is a ‘Hunger Games’ inspired scarf.

Hi, Lise! I had to start listening to your podcast after having such a fun conversation with you at Yellow Rose Fiber Fiesta. I strongly identified with your discussion of needing inspiration and joy in your working life. In fact, I wrote about it here and wanted to share it with you: http://darkmatterknits.wordpress.com/2012/01/25/freebird/. Best of luck with your own adventures and I hope to see you again at another show.
